We had an amazing stay at a perfectly presented little cottage in the middle of Skye. It was away from it all and had a great view of the hills. the cottage was warm, cosy, and had everything we needed for our 2 nights as a family of 4. It was the highlight of our 10-day adventure in Scotland and Ireland. the sheep welcoming committee at the front door was a delightful touch. the kitchen was well-stocked, and the cottage was amazingly clean and comfortable. We hope to rent it for a longer period next time. Cons: Was all great! 😊.

Cute little self catering accommodation located in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by beautiful scenery. The location provided a peaceful and romantic atmosphere. The cottage had a well-equipped garden with seating and a fire pit, perfect for stargazing. The hosts also provided a lovely breakfast basket and essential amenities.

The water pressure in the cottage was lousy, which was a bit inconvenient. The layout of the cottage, with bedrooms upstairs and the bathroom downstairs, may not be suitable for some people.

Felt happy, nothing to complain about.

My family and I recently stayed at Heatherland Cottage and it was truly a special experience. The cottage itself was incredibly charming and had all the amenities we could ask for. The hosts were incredibly responsive and even provided us with a detailed guide of the area. One of the highlights was waking up to beautiful views from the kitchen window while enjoying a cup of tea. The beds were clean and comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. The location was also perfect for exploring the rest of the island.

We stayed at Heatherland Cottage for a few nights and it truly felt like a home away from home. The design of the place was lovely, with cozy bedrooms tucked away upstairs and comfortable beds. The view of the surrounding landscape was breathtaking, and we even woke up at 3 am just to listen to the peaceful silence. If you're looking for a relaxed getaway, this hidden gem up in the hills is perfect.

    Strongly recommend this hotel.

For the price we paid, the value at Heatherland Cottage was outstanding. The room itself was comfortable and cozy, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the Scottish countryside right at our doorstep. The staff, especially Adam, were incredibly helpful and kind, ensuring that we had a magical experience from start to finish.

The morning meal could have been improved with a greater variety of options.

The location was absolutely stunning, nestled in the midst of nature with breathtaking views of the hills. It felt like a true escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The cottage itself was warm and cozy, perfectly presented with all the necessary amenities. We had everything we needed for our two nights stay as a family of four. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were well-maintained. The cottage provided a lovely little breakfast basket, which was a thoughtful touch.

The water pressure in the cottage was a major letdown. It was extremely lousy and made showers quite frustrating.

The location of the cottage was ideal, offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside. It provided a peaceful and idyllic retreat, perfect for a relaxing break. The cottage itself was clean and well-equipped, providing all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable and inviting, ensuring a good night's sleep. Additionally, the communication from the hosts was clear and helpful, providing useful suggestions and making the check-in process easy.

One disappointing aspect was the low water pressure, which resulted in limited hot water supply. This made it challenging to have multiple showers or fill the bath.
